EBMUD’s primary source of water supply is the Mokelumne River in the Sierra foothills. The District supplies high quality water and provides wastewater treatment for parts of Alameda and Contra Costa counties. EBMUD also has a commitment to environmental protection which begins with our mission statement and continues through our varied programs and services.
